First I wanted to thank those who have rated and commented my songs in the short time they've been on here. I greatly appreciate the input.
As you can guess, I'm very new to scoring music and working within midi suites. I've recorded and released two CD's under the name Redneck Hippie, and both of those are Indie Rock and Roll. This is most definitely different than writing rock and roll.
Whereas rock is pretty much, in it's simplest terms, a repeating "loop" of verse, chorus, and sometimes bridge, (built around a simple tonic with three or four chord progression) with minimal instrumentation, writing and recording a full score is a completely different animal. But hopefully, with patience, hard work, and good, honest, constructive comments such as I have recieved so far, I'll become good at this as well.
I'm really glad i decided to post my music here. This seems to be a good community overflowing with genuine talent, and I'm proud to now be a part of it.
